Hedman Hedder problems.

So, I have a 68 C10 but we believe its on a 72 frame, has a 350 SB and a auto turbo 350. We ordered some Hedmans for it, as the older headers were falling apart, so we got the Hedmans- 69090, and they hit the lower control arm on the driver side. We did some research, everything pointed to needing 69092. So we got the 69092s today, and they have the exact same problem, hitting the control arm. Now we think this truck might be originally a V6, and that the motor mounts are probably in the wrong holes and sitting to far forward for the V8 350... So if this is true, is there any other headers to fit this or anyway around this problem other than moving the motor back or denting the headers? Thanks!
