Steering wheel installation question

I am replacing the aftermarket wheel in my 72 with an original wheel. I pulled off the aftermarket wheel and the adapter, and then I put the original wheel back on and screwed the center nut down. I also installed the three Phillips head screws. Is this everything needs to be done or am I missing something? Seems too easy
