I've been asking alot of questions, been for this truck.. Finally got some pics!

This is the truck I've been working on for my daughters first car... She is just getting her license, and this is what she wanted!

It is a 67 C10. It is in decent shape, and looks good from 10 feet. There is a bit of bondo in it, especially the doors. But it is a good one for her, it looks good enough to not be embarrassed by it, but if something happens to it, its not a $20,000 restored truck.

It was a manual trans, and has been switched to an automatic. The manual front drums have been changed to power discs. Been doing a lot of work to this truck!

She gets her license in October, but recently has been pushing to get it going for her first car show. It is at NAPA where my wife works, a local radio station comes in for a broadcast, and it is a small show. Last couple of years there have been like 20 cars, mostly workers and friends. I am taking my Pinto, and my wife has her Chevelle. My daughter really wanted her truck in it this year! I got it going enough to drive it on and off the trailer, so am hauling it down there tonight to leave in the building overnight, and they can drive it to the parking lot tomorrow. The brakes just barely work, and the front end needs alignment as it has all new tie rods, ball joints, and converted from manual steering to power steering. But it moves enough to show, and she is a happy camper!

After the show, I'll haul it back home, and continue working on it. I think the next event she really wants to go to is "Cruise the Gut", a really neat event they have downtown in August. The close off the roads downtown, and cars park on the sides, and are actually allowed to drive around too... This includes drag cars, and others that aren't normally street legal. Neat to not only see, but hear the cars and watch them drive around! So by then, I'm hoping hers is ready to cruise too.

Just wanted to throw out a couple of quick pics, and thank everyone that has been helping answer my questions so far, and continuing to help, as it is still a work in progress!
