Bagging 70 with factory components

Hi there everyone! I have done some searching, but can't quite seem to come up with the answers I'm looking for. Anyways, I am looking to bag my 70 c10 (2wd LWB) and had some questions regarding stock components (I hope someone has done this before). I am not new to the world of air ride, I've had quite a few s10s and a ranger that were all bagged and body dropped but this is my first full size. I know everyone converts these trucks to disc brakes (which I will be doing in the future) but for now, I was curious if anyone has bagged this year using the factory front end (cross member, control arms and drum brakes), the factory trans cross member and the factory carrier bearing cross member. This truck is a trailing arm setup so I am good there (with an adjustable pan hard bar) but my curiosity lies in the factory cross members. I know it won't lay flat, and for now that's OK but are there any issues running these factory cross members? How does the carrier bearing hold up? Thanks in advance everyone and sorry if this has been beat to death!
