Cpp drop spindles

I've been shopping around for a spindle disk kit. I was looking at the cpp kits and I noticed they have a modular spindle that makes up for the offset of the disks, something like a 1 1/8 . Anyone try them and are they worth the extra money? Or are the regular drop spindles the basic standard? I'm not going to bag it now, but possibly in the future. It will basically be a lowered daily driver, thanks
