ab_70chevy Registered User Join Date: May 2012 Location: Wichita, KS Posts: 63	U joint question Forgive my ignorance, but I've never had a u joint go out on me. I have a tapping noise coming from the rear on my '70 2wd right on take off and right before a complete stop. It gets faster with my speed and slower when I stop, but after about 5-10 mph you can't hear it anymore with the exhaust and road noise. Is the a u joint, or something else. Any other hints would be appreciated, Thanks fellas -Andrew
