Welding type

My driver's seat welds have broke where the seat frame meets the seat Trac. The upolstery is still in good condition since it was redone 15 years ago. Which form of welding would create less heat to weld or retack the broken welds. Since moving to San Antonio I need to research a shop that can fix the frame. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, my 71 Blazer would appreciate it too.. MikeD
