Fuel Pump Failure?

Last night I filled up the tank(wasn't on empty nor ever has been) and I started it. While it was idling I was putting some music on and it died. Looked and the filter was completely empty.
With a little starter fluid I got it to run and when I was back home, only a quarter mile, it was full again. Has been hard to start the past couple days and I think it wasn't getting fuel(pumped the throttle and couldn't hear fuel coming out). Took this video of it today and something seems strange.
Fuel pump bad? Hole in the hose? Something clogged in the tank or pump? Normal? I'm stumped, hope one of you have an idea.

Thank you all!
