rear ends

o.k. I did a search for rear disc brakes read every single post, and no one had seemed to of answered or thought of this question. how long of a rear end is needed for our trucks? I have a 71 c20. found an explorer 8.8 rear end on ebay, this is with disc brakes for 400 plus 100 for shipping. this is the link:

anyone know if this would fit? and also what size of rear end should I be looking for?

71 c20, 454- Stolen While Deployed. dynoed at 550 ft lbs, 425 hp at 3000 rpm (mustang dyno). TH400 3500 stall.... etc, etc.
