Looking to add aftermarket Tach and need stock fuel gauge

Hello,

Looking to install an Autometer Tach in the Fuel Gauge spot to the right of my Speedo. I can't seem to find the small fuel gauge to replace it for any year past 1980. I've only found ones for 75-80 and 73-78 and I have a 1984 C10.

Would either of those work? I'll be putting it where the clock is currently.

Also, will the circuit board be okay just folded back so I can fit the tach? I'd make sure it couldn't short anything but wanted to know if there's anything I should look out for.
