Plow size & weight on K10
I have a 72 K10 longbed, TH350 4x4 with 3.73's and 32" tires. Going to put a plow on it and curious whether it can handle an 8 foot plow like the Western Pro-Plow? Some seem to feel like a 1/2 ton should have a 7' 6" instead of an 8' plow.
The Pro-Plow is 650 lbs in a 7'6" and 670 in an 8', so I assume the difference is how much snow you are pushing, not the weight of the plow itself? |
