Project Blue - 66 C10 Fleetside

Hey everybody. Like some of you i have been lurking on here for a while drooling over the builds and the ideas you guys come up with. Recently bought my first house with a garage, so its time that the old girl starts the road to recovery and get it back on the road where it belongs. Originally, the truck was my grandfathers. I inherited it from my dad when he moved onto grandpas farm about 12 years ago. In high school i got it going again, rebuilt the original 250 L6, threw a fresh coat of paint on and rims and tires. just enough that i could drive it and have it for grad. Kept driving it for the years to come after. That is until one day just cruising along and it dies. long story short, engine needed to be rebuilt again. But time money and space to work were not available. So it sat in the quonset at my brothers until Now.

Heres the basic plan:

- 350 or LS swap - haven't decided totally yet, leaning to 350
- 5 spd trans
- short bed conversion
- suspension wise, id like to get it lower, but not slammed, air ride one day maybe
- probably going to be getting the same shade of blue it is now, but will need to be fully repainted.

Its going to be a long process but it will be worth it. And more than likely gonna have a few questions for you guys!

Heres a few pictures of my starting point right now.
