Carrier bearing help

I have been looking through the threads and cannot find pictures for the carrier bearing for my 1960 longbed. I know there are 2 different types used and mine had the D shaped one, but it was clearly installed improperly and I think in the wrong placeas well. Does anyone have pictures of what their 60 longbed carrier bearing looks like and where it is installed. I have only seen pictures of the later trucks without the X frame.

The PO put cut a piece of steel that sat under the bearing mounts and slid it through the X frame. They then bent the edges of the carrier bearing around the piece of steel to hold it in place. I don't have pictures of the steel piece but, the carrier bearing how it was placed, clearly off center.
