taller "drop springs" ?
I bought a set of POL, 2" drop springs for the rear of my 68 swb truck. After installation the rear of the truck was about 1/2" TALLER! (measured to the top of the wheel well)
My stock springs measured 12 1/4 inches The new "drop springs" measured 12 5/8 I thought this was weird, but figured they would probably squish down, they didn't. Manufacturer said "Your old springs must have sagged" According to this PDF: https://www.gmheritagecenter.com/doc...olet-Truck.pdf The stock height from my tailgate to the ground was 27 1/4" With the new springs, it measures 28 3/4" We're going the wrong direction.
