Hello

Hi! I'm glad I found this forum. I recently bought a 1972 GMC K1500 Custom Suburban. It's a neat old truck but it's had a rough life. I have a question about the interior. Evidently, Custom was the base model for GMC in '72. My door panels and seat vinyl (what's left of it!) are parchment and match the illustrations in the brochure. I know it didn't come with the rear side panels, headliner, or third row seat. The second row seat is full length. The inside of the roof has a thick padded vinyl covering over the front seat, and there is evidence that it was on each section between the roof bows. It (or something else)was also glued to the inside of the outer rear side panels. Is this original or should it just be painted steel? I'm sorry if this message is a bit long.
