How to replace vent window seals?

I am in the process of replacing the door components on my 66 stepside. I have the new regulators, fuzzy glass guides and main glass channel strips in. I have the vent window assemblies out so I can replace the rotted rubber seals. I have searched all over the net and YouTube but I can't find any how to's on anything older than 1967 which has a different looking assembly.

Do I need to drill out rivets? If so, how do these things go back together? I'm hoping to find a walk through somewhere.
