Question 1970 k2500 rebuild

I bought this truck when I was 16, the first truck I ever bought. it had a few problems when I bought it due to the molestation that it had endured from previous owners. I have been wanting to rebuild it ever since I parked it about 5 years ago. I left the state for a few years and left it on my parents ranch and when I returned home I discovered that my brother had bought an el camino with the same engine and decided that he would use my truck for parts. needless to say I was left with one hell of a mess.

so as of now I have replaced the wiring harness gone through the engine, but I can't get it to fire. when I replaced the harness I did try to bypass the external voltage regulator, due to the fact that I didn't know what it was. I have since purchased a new regulator and am now stuck trying to figure out where the 4 wires go to. this is my first rebuild and I am just sort of learning as I go any help from anyone would be very helpful and appreciated
