Damaged driver's side rotor
Hey all
The truck has been squeaking when I go to stop, so I pulled my front wheels off to check it out. My driver's side rotor has a nasty little canyon in it that starts about an inch from the edge of the rotor and is about an inch deep with varying depths from just a minor ridge to one being nearly a 1/8 inch deep. On the other side, it looks like the pad is only rubbing on the outside and very inside of the rotor, becuase the middle of the rotor isn't clean at all. The inner faces of both rotors look just fine, and while gouged, the driver's side rotor is shiney all the way around, with the pad being shaped to the rotor. What would cause my squeaking here?
