Heater stopped working, blowing fuses, melted the wire connector

Hi everyone
Recently I broke the arms on my heater (no ac) so I got the unbreakable levers from Brothers. I put them on a week or two ago and all was good.
Today I noticed my heater wasn’t on and the fuse was blown. I put a new fuse in and it blew right away.
I looked at the wires that plug into the switch and it was a little bit melted at the bottom most terminal

I will need new wiring harness for the heater, but do you think also I need a new switch? Or whole new heater control? Is there something else that may be or is likely the culprit?
