Brake questions for experts

I’m still pretty green as far as actually driving these trucks.

Last week I was traveling about 35mph and someone cut me off. I slammed on the brakes. It did stop, but I’m pretty sure that the rears locked up. The bed was empty.

Is that normal?

Everything is new:
ECE front stock rotors and calipers.
New stock non-power master cylinder
CPP proportioning valve
New stock rear brakes
