Eaton Posi vs Eaton Detroit TruTrac

I know that this debate has been discussed time and time again. It appears that most people recommend the TruTrac over the Posi unit simply because of the Posi unit has a clutch that can potentially wear out over the years.

I haven't seen any comments as to a clutch actually wearing out and was trying to get a general idea on how long they actually last. I would imagine that the way a person drive will have a major impact on the lifespan of the clutch.

I'm trying to determine which unit to put in my 67 c10 project. I plan on running a 5.3 LS with a 4l60e transmission. The gear ratio I plan on using Richmond 3.73 Ring and Pinon in the rear end.
