The clutch limited slip is also traction limited if one tire is off the ground. Either can be "activated" a little with the use of the brake pedal.
Figure 50-100,000 miles before noticeable change in performance on the clutch type. The TruTrac is very unobtrusive in use however. We are building a Jimmy for my son and I think TruTrac is on the short list unless I score a GM posi cheap somewhere.
