'69, Big Block Engine Part out, 396, 310HP, code YP - 1/2 ton
Long Block with factory tin, smokes but runs smooth, believed to be all standard. This is the last year of the higher intake manifold and has higher compression ratio than the later big blocks, $500 local or $600 on a pallet delivered to your choice of shipper.
Engine is stamped TO12IYP, decodes as Tonowanda, January 21 build date. 1/2 ton application for 1969. TH400 with '69 metal tag, works good but I have only driven it around the block a few times, no delay in gear engagement, $250 local or palletized to your shipper for $350. Power Steering - pump, lines, bolts, brackets, reservoir and crank pulley, $200 shipped. Alternator Brackets, 2 piece with bolts, $140 shipped. Air Conditioning Brackets, less intake horseshoe because the truck had AIR injection, $300 shipped. AIR Injection, pump (locked up), pulley on pump, water pump pulley, upper bracket, adjuster bracket, bolts, NOS GM injection tubes (close to original, think they are 70 Chevelle) $375 shipped. Engine frame stands with upper and lower rubber mounts, bolts included, $140 shipped. Fan Shroud, $145 shipped. Clutch Fan, $115 shipped. Pictures to follow.... |
