Seam sealer required?

So it looks like the body shop forgot to seal these body seams around the windshield. I have body sealer but want to confirm these seams should be sealed and painted before the windshield is installed.

BTW, there was absolutely no rust to repair before painting. This truck spent the first 23 years in California and the last 20 years in my basement.
