1969 gmc 2500 frame restore help.

So the first thing I wanna do is have the frame checked for straightens and have the frame pulled or adjusted if needed. Than I wanna remove the bed, cab, suspension and all to just frame only. Sand down, prep and paint the frame.
The question is, is this a good start before doing body work?? Thanks.
