Proud new owner of '87 stepside

Dad and I just picked up a nice '87 stepside C10 Custom Deluxe at a local dealer. We talked him down to $2500 for it. It has a Goodwrench 350 TBI crate motor. I thought it would have the 700r4 but I noticed there was no OD. After the test drive I climbed underneath to check out the underbody and what did I spot? TH400!! Has a nice firm shift kit in it too. The body is in really good shape, with only a small amount of surface rust on the rockers. The wheel arches are in great condition. It has a wood bed but someone put diamond plate aluminum over it. The wood is getting restored when we get enough money saved up. Also will need new exhaust (Cherry Bombs with a decent sized leak on the left bank). I'm thinking Magnaflows with a crossover pipe. Man I'm stoked about this truck. I still can't believe it has a th400. Pics will be coming in a couple weeks since I'm stuck at school until the 6th and Dad can't work the digital camera
