'72 GMC 3/4 ton project rebuild it
It's time to get er done....
Project rebuild it Have had the truck since '06 and have used it up till a couple yrs ago. Had a '71 GMC 1/2 ton and sourced the good metal off of it ...well at least the box and front fenders plus one inner fender plus a few extra bits that came with the truck and sold the truck to a friend for his go faster project (he was playing with a ole ferd but the GMC was much more appealing to take things to the next level of performance...believe he is going to turbo a LS power plant plus plus. For me working on the box now. Added a few patch pieces into the bed floor (a late '90s Dodge box floor was used as a donor for patch pieces) and have one cross member needing a little love. Box fenders are in great shape as the the skins go with some inner workings needing the love. New inner fenders for the box as well. Cab needs both cab corners, left rocker, a floor patch drivers side, R inner fender and some patches on the front cowl under the battery box. Power Plant ...the plan is to do up a 383HT ...aiming for a nice 450hp sauce with 450ftlbs of torque.
