Adjustable shelving
Thought I would send a link for some of you in the southeast. This is for the company that does most or all of the auctions for the Wal-mart and Sam's stores that closed due to new stores being built. Due to being a auction prices can very, but most of the time if your there for the whole sale you can get some good deals on adjustable shelving that is great for use in any garage, utility room, or storage area. I was at the one this past Saturday and know that there are a few more coming up. Most of the time he gets short notice from Wal-Mart to do the sale so may want to check often or do the mailing list. The one Saturday also included a tire / lube area so it also had the lifts for the ideal garage... they sold from around 700 to 1800 depending on the style.
http://www.edstallings.com/ Included a few pictures of the items I got this time. I have been to a few of them, and every one will be a little different depending on who is biding, but same type of shelving is used at all. Shelving is easy to disassemble and put back up the way it is made, and I have even stood on the wall mounted ones to get the top brackets so I know they will hold 150-160 lbs on a shelf with no problem. Sales are normally on a Saturday and end about 1-2 pm. Can stay till about 6 day of sale and following day to move, and till 12 or 2 pm the 3rd day. Pictures were on the 2nd day so I had done stripped most of the stuff. Wall sections are 4 ft on center, with a ~ 4ft runner on top of a ~7 ft runner. The wall section I got had about 16 sections total, each averaged 2-22", 1-14",1-16", & 2-12" shelves, and one sheet of 6' tall peg board and bottom shelf. Paid $5 for entire wall. pic 120 Last edited by A few 72's; 05-24-2004 at 03:03 PM. Reason: add photo |
