Adding a couple inches to 4” suspension lift.
I got a 1991 suburban 3/4 ton 4x4 about a year ago finally getting started on it. The PO never mentioned any lift but I’m about 80% sure it’s got a 4” lift already on it, is there a way i can confirm this? I threw on a 315-75/16 to check my offset of the wheels and they fit pretty good except when i run obviosuly it rubs the fenders. (See second pic)
If it already has a 4” lift, i know i can add 2” block in the rear but i don’t want to put blocks on the front and I’d rather stay away from body lifts. The additional 2” is temporary, just until i can get a 6” suspension lift. I just want something i can add now so i can get these 35’s on it. Also some research I’ve done shows this truck possibly has the 4l80e transmission. The pan does have 17 bolts but i don’t know how else i could determine which tranny it has.
