Airride 4 way on a budget
I currently have a 2 way AirRide Technologies suspension setup that is cool and all, but I want it to be better.
How can I convert to a 4 way, without the ugly 4 switches and 2 gauges under the dash but still have the ability to see my air levels and control all 4? I am asking first off because with the 2 way, the air can go from side to side if cornering and I would rather not have that due to rubbing. And secondly I don't really like the current setup under the dash. I have seen 4 way valves with controllers for $500+ and then a gauge set that is discrete for $400 so that is $900+ just to go 4 way. Am I missing something? I almost wish I could go to a static drop, or tub out the rear just a little bit to make it better but hoping someone will have some advice. Here is a couple of picks of what I am dealing with. I also am testing a spacer to push the wheel out some but have not decided to keep them just yet. This is without the spacer ![]() This is with ![]() This is with some of the suspension aired up, not drive height though. ![]() Gap without spacer which is why I am so concerned - it does rub with this wheel and tire combo. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Air out and wheel is touching the fender trim. ![]() |
