Finishing my crate engine questions

The literature says I need a (left) side oil dipstick tube, and gives a Chevrolet Performance number (03876870), but when I plug it in at any Chevy site I get nothing. Any reason not to buy from Classic?

Is the oil filter adapter removable from my old 350, or is it cast into the block?
