Help with fuel tank relocation...

I wasn't to worried about the current bed so I just cut the hole "close" but I plan on putting a new bed on down the road and figured I would rather have to cut in the floor of it vs the bedside. So I decided to go with a rear mount, top fill tank... What do I need to do to make it where the cap I bought is flush with the bed. I have the tank up against the frame right now and had planned on putting some rubber between the tank & frame and just bolting it on, but to get the filler neck down lower it looks like I'm going to have to use the straps. Does anyone have any pics of the setup I'm going for? Thanks!

Heres where the tank would be if i bolt it to the frame vs where it would be using the straps...
