What was the stock rear bumper?
I'd like to put a chrome rear bumper on my truck, but I think I'll have to get a set of brackets too.
This has got me to thinking - I haven't seen a lot of our trucks with the stock rear bumper. I live in farm country and the trucks that I've seen, either on the road or at the wrecker, have some kind of aftermarket or locally built step bumper. Did GM ship our trucks without rear bumpers so customers could choose? Maybe this was just the practice in farm country where I live? Any thoughts?
