Potential Longhorn purchase

Going to look at another longhorn this weekend only about an hour from me. One owner, seems to be all complete, runs and drives and stops but needs the usual tune and such. Has rust in the rockers and cab corners, says none in the floorboard but I will go look tomorrow. I have one now that is also a 71 but its a pretty base pickup but has a big block and has a lot of rust. I gave 1870 for my big block pickup with dealer ac, and this one has factory air, 350, steering and brakes...what I'm trying to find out is would this green colored one be worth the same or possibly a little more? Asking price is 2500. let me know what your opinions are..I know they're hard to find, but one can still overpay pretty easy and you guys on here are experts.
