New guy from the other side of the pond

Hi guys,

My name is Eric, I'm based in France and I've owned a black '72 for a few years. Got it over from New Hampshire. It's a longbed rigged with a 454.

I don't know what it was originally, the glovebox tag was scratched off. It now looks like a Cheyenne, with the right trim and all.

Of course, the 454 was a swap, but it came like that when I bought it so I don't know much about the engine. The TRW code suggests a 1978 motor, not exactly the most exciting year for those engines, but it does the job. The TH350 works fine.

No big issues with that truck. Some rust under the radiator, a leaky steering box, the transmission shifter is loose (no need to depress it to shift) and that's about it. Nothing really serious.

All in all a good truck to drive around. And not so common here in Europe.

English is not my mother language, so please be cool with the Frenchman, he tries hard !
