I know it's a Furd but Help my Mom pls...

So Mom is dead in the water as her 2002 Expedition is sputtering when it drives for like 20 or more miles. It is intermittent and stops running. It has only 19,000 miles.Yup that's right. So I want to fix it for her. The dealer said it was a coil on #1 and a collapsing pcv hose. If I remember it was code po131 and po174? Probably wrong about that and can get the info tomorrow. I replaced the coil and the pvc valve but could not see how that line could collapse as it is the hard plastic line. I also did the fuel filter and cleaned the MAF sensors. It would still run with the MAF unplugged so I am baffled. Dang Furd! I know it's a stretch but you all helped me fix My Toyota so I thought I would give it a shot. Thanks In advance!
