Advice on a purchase..

Im going to look at this pickup tomorrow, one owner 82 3/4 ton with 101,000 actual miles. Going by the pictures its in pretty good shape, won't know until I see it of course. Said theres minor rust bubbling on passenger side rear quarter above the wheel. Everything is all there still, runs and drives. can be bought for 1500, as he was asking 2,000. Not too familiar with these pickups, i have a 74 that I plan on keeping. This one id like to have and drive for a little while then Id flip it. Is 1,500 a good amount to do that plan? If not whats a good price? Any info is helpful, thanks.
