Does Motorhome tilt have travel limits vs. real truck tilt?

I just put in a motorhome tilt that i did all the mods on to make it fit my 68 GMC. I dont really care too much about having a tilt, but what a cool option! All worked out great, and installation was a breeze.

i notice that from centered, it has 2 detents going up, and 3 detents going down.

in other words, it has more travel downward, than upward

Got me thinking about the angle in a motorhome, more like a bus, column comes out of the floor. It would not need as much upward travel.

Is there anything internal to limit the travel on a motorhome tilt? or are the real 69-72 truck tilts operating in the same manner?
