292 Fuel Pump Replacement ?

Has anyone bought and used a 250/292 fuel pump that didn't have the tab riveted to the pump arm?
Every pump that I've ever used had the tab. I just bought a NAPA B0154P and a second pump they sell does not have the tab either. The NAPA pump has M4503 printed on it. Summit sells a Carter M4503 pump for the inline 250/292.
No flaps in the area has a pump in stock for me to buy or compare.

My concern is that the pump arm rides directly on the cam instead of a push rod like Chevy V engines. The tab appears to be a softer metal.
