Correct engine?
I just bought a 1963 K10 long bed and I am trying to find out if it's got the correct engine.
The engine numbers don't match the VIN number. It's a 230 six . Is there any way to verify its the engine it came with by the VIN or on the vehicle. I am thinking of putting in a 283 v8. The six is very lacking in power! And will a small block drop right in? Thanks. |
