OT Newer chevy truck problems? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Hello all
This summer or sooner I am going to try and get a 2001 or newer 2500HD. I was wondering if any of you have heard any major problems with these trucks? I was told that they had piston slap, and at school i went onto our computers and looked up the recalls on them and other customer interests. so if anyone has anything they know about these trucks or has one and could tell me a few things about it.
