Starter goes "thunk".
350 sb. Lately when I go to crank the engine the starter just goes thunk but doesn't do anything. No noise, no trying to turn over- nothing. If I let off the key and try again it fires right up. When it does crank it sounds fine so I'm assuming the gear/tooth engagement is good. The battery cables are new,clean and tight.
Is this just a faulty solenoid I'm dealing with? |
