Column shift collar delete?

Hello all,

I am wanting to ditch the column shifter for my th350 on my '68 GMC. I am going to run a B&M pro ratchet shifter. Last summer when reaching up to put my phone up on the dash, my sleeve hooked on my shifter and slammed my freshly rebuilt th350 into reverse! I was shocked. Killed the engine. Bad day. It restarted, and has run and driven well since, but I want to go to a different style shifter. I'm going too run a ratchet shifter, with reverse lockout. Anyway, I am hopeful to keep my current steering column. Is there a collar or something that replaces the column shift collar, to make the column still look nice and clean?

Nik
