Carburetor 292 mystery

Hey y'all.

Been a while since I've been here but started to restore my 69 c30 again.

Pulled the Carb off with a # 7029021. Doing a little research found this Carb was originally meant for a 250 inline. Im confused as heck now. The 292 Carbs were supposed to be 7029012 and 7029022.

Also from reading in the shop manual the 292 Carbs have a thermostatic coil running into the carb?

None to be found on this particular carb. What the deal with the thermostatic coil. Am I screwed without it?

I want to buy a new carb and make sure I get the right part. What do you guys think?
