Buddy Bucket Foam Replacement

I searched the board for relevant information with little to no luck, so I will ask the questions. Who has replaced the foam on the buddy buckets? Where did you get it from? How difficult was it? Trying to determine if its really worth it to try to refurbish the set I have or just let them go down the road. Took them to a few local shops and was quoted between $1500 - 3000 and most shops I felt would try to patch up the foam. These things have been the home for a few rodent generations, so the foam needs to go. I have seen the foam for a few hundred, but its one of those things that unless I can touch and feel, kind of leery buying without some feedback. Unfortunately, I do not have photos of them at this time. Thanks
