Blue (Ford) orifice tube for better cooling
Hey Guys
My 80 has a factory A/C that was originally R12 Freon now 134 the A/C compressor is a Sanden. I read that running a blue orifice tube will make the system cool better. The condenser is designed for R12 and the smaller orifice in the blue .067 compared to the OEM GM white tube is .072 will hold the Freon in the condenser longer allowing it to drop the coolant temp better. System currently runs 45 degrees at the vent. Anyone ever tried this? Thanks |
