70 Jimmy 2wd conversion
Testing the waters. $4,500.00
Original Jimmy had rusty floors, (corrected), still has a little rot in the floor near the tailgate. Also some rust in the fenders. I do have a chrome front bumper, but it has a tweak in it. Converted to 2WD with 85 suburban suspension, added dropped spindles and flipped the rear axle. Has 5 lug all around. Tires are good with less than 2K miles. 3.08 with a positrac. Power steering, power brakes. Fully rebuilt 350 with 350 horse cam, roller rockers, and an aluminum intake. Hooker Comp Plus shorty headers. Muncie 4 speed, 85 chevy pickup seat, original rear seat, tilt steering from an S10. I also have an underdash A/C unit that will go with it. I have a new dashpad. This was running and driving daily until 6 years ago, then only 1-2 times per year since we moved back to Texas. I will contemplate selling w/o the engine and transmission for $2,500.00 Last edited by low'n slow; 06-20-2018 at 07:44 PM. |
