hey everyone, i just bought a 79 scottsdale
![Bowtie](http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/images/smilies/chevy_anim.gif)
and i must admit, it needs alot of work and i don't know where to start
![Confused](http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/images/smilies/confused.gif)
, it has the original inline 6 cylinder engine w/ a standard 3-on-the-tree shifter, the interior is not too bad but could use some work, i want to swap the engine out for a small block 350
![Burnout](http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/images/smilies/burnout.gif)
but i dont know where to start, i also want to put the lowest drop i can on it
![headbang](http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/images/smilies/metal.gif)
, airbags will come into play later when i get my paycheck
![Big Grin](http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
, and i also want to put a new front bumper (roll pan) and a new rear roll pan on it, it is all primered but has never been painted for about 3 1/2 years, like i said, it needs alot of work, the transmission slips out of gear when in 3rd gear (very frustrating
![banghead](http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/images/smilies/banghead.gif)
), no power steering (i want to get power steering in it, is that possible?), and the entire dash is all cracked up and stuff

, if anyone can help me or at least tell me where the best place to start is, then reply asap or send an emial to me at

thanks,
joe
