steering wheel assembly

I am installing an oem steering wheel in a 1972 non tilt. It had a replacement wheel which uesed a conversion kit for the horn. I am not sure if i have all the parts or what but I cant seem to get the horn to work right. all the manuals i have don't show the inside of the wheel assembly so i cant tell if i am missing any parts can anybody help out. I just need to know the proper parts for the assembly and what they look like. if someone could post a couple of pics that would be great.
