Truckin Magizine Article from 1989-90
The article was titled "The Butler did it" It featured a 1960 Chevy Apache 10 longbed fleetside. I was hoping some old timers may remember the issue or maybe someone has it can give me information on the Magizine issue. Thanks, Here are the details...
The owner's last name was Butler. The truck was solid white (but as resent as 2005 it now has yellow and orange flames painted on it). I actually found it on MySpace around 2005 but haven't been able to find any updated info on it since then. Here is some info that may help... Longbed fireside with 62 -66 hood. The truck was lowered with polished aluminum slots with orange painted in the slots. The truck had a 427 old school Bigblock with polished aluminum asseceries the engine was orange. I think the cover was black and had 15 years of truckin magizine covers on it. I thought the owner's name was Ron but I could be wrong. It's been 25 years since I seen the article. I had it but lost it over the years I do remember that the article was a "centerfold". I actually had it taped on my bedroom wall lol! Thanks alot for any help! |
